In Eppan, at the heart of the South Tyrol Wine Route, the time between Easter and late autumn is the best time to don your walking boots.

One of the most popular walks is the "three castles" walk - you can take a circular walk directly from Regalterhof to Hocheppan - Schloss Korb - Boymond, taking about 2 1/2 hours. Once a week this historical hike is also offered as a guided tour. The restaurant and hotel at Schloss Korb are also reachable by car.
